Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrew 11:1
Sometimes we feel weary and question what will happen next. We wonder how God will choose to guide us. We have difficulty trying to focus and need to be reminded to be faithful and TRUST.
Jesus met a man on His way toward Jerusalem. Bartimaeus sat on the side of the road calling for the Savior. He was blind and couldn’t see. But his voice was powerful! In the midst of the noisy crowd, he didn’t allow “be quiet” to silence him. He yelled for mercy and grace.
Jesus revealed the love of His faithfulness and performed a miracle. Bartimaeus received his sight and was healed because he BELIEVED. In grateful offerings of praise, he chose to follow Jesus. Those who witnessed the miracle, praised our mighty God!
God uses circumstances in our lives to demonstrate the power of His will. When we’re blinded by the lack of faith, He opens our eyes to TRUST. He navigates us through good and bad and helps us remember who leads us through difficult days of doubt.
When the future is unclear, we must seek the One who longs to strengthen us. We mustn’t listen to those who try to silence HOPE. God will ready us to move, even when we cannot see what's coming. He will help us witness His power of love, no matter what it takes. In the sureness of His presence, we will recognize WHY we need Him.
God is HERE. He will open our eyes and allow us to clearly see the need for mercy and grace. We must put our FAITH in the One who created us to TRUST. Christ will lead us through whatever happens in our lives. We must believe and remain faithful. And we must not forget; there will never be a day without the presence of His amazing love.
Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. We recognize the power of Your will, as we consider the miracles He performed. We will TRUST in You and continue to seek the love of our Savior. Help us remember who is working for the good. Remind us where HOPE is found. Thank you for holding us in time of need and reminding us YOU are our constant source of strength. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
