The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18 NLT

Christ knows our hearts. In moments to draw closer than before, He helps us find courage and STRENGTH. He knows our EVERY need and reminds us why LOVE bears all things. He bandages sores of the soul and comforts us with PEACE. He carries us through what we cannot handle alone.

At some time in our lives, we will experience grief and feel the weight of sadness. But Jesus will hold us close and help us discover how it feels to be held. He will comfort us while we’re cradled in care and remind us HE is with us in despair.

We have been blessed with loved ones who make our lives complete. They broaden our joy and help us experience how it feels to be loved. When God calls them home, we’re never ready to say “goodbye.” But Jesus holds us close. He carries the grief of release.

Christ knows about suffering because He bled for each one of us. When we consider what He endured, we begin to realize He is the One who holds our pain. The One who was nailed to the cross didn't stay there forever. He died and rose again! We never sit alone when we call on Him.

God sent Jesus to bring an awareness of why this is not our home. Those who are close to spending eternity with Him have been readied to live forever. We can only imagine what waits for those we love as they're led toward wholeness and welcomed by the love of Christ.

When we cannot breathe in moments that rob our calm, God will lift us with arms of STRENGTH and make sure we feel His greatness. He will help us embrace the fullness of His LOVE and remember it WILL last forever…

LOVE will be our STRENGTH! As we TRUST God to carry us through the heartbreak of loss, He will hear our prayers as we draw closer to Him. We WILL find PEACE as we sit in His healing and understand the HOPE of heaven.

LOVE will hold us together. God will forever take care of those we love. And He will always, ALWAYS take care of us.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4.

Dear God, thank you for the lives of those we love. When You call them home, please give us STRENGTH to remember Your timing is not our own. Help us find courage and PEACE that passes all understanding and cling to Your promise for comfort. We will trust You all of our days as You guide, provide and take care of each one of us. You have prepared a place where we will live forever in the wholeness of Your love. Thank you for the promise of spending eternity with Jesus as we remain faithful to You. Amen

~Jace's family will be saying their goodbyes tomorrow. May God comfort them with the promise of His peace, the strength of His faithfulness and the prayers of many who care so deeply. Thank you for your kindness. May God hold this family together with the HOPE of heaven and reminder that LOVE bear all things. ♥
