The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. Psalm 24: 1 NLT 

Oh, how often we take for granted the gifts of God’s greatness and neglect to praise Him for the beauty of the earth.

When I was young, we learned a beautiful hymn, “This is My Father’s World.’’ I remember hearing my mother and many others lift their voices of praise. I smile to consider how very much God must LOVE the harmony of our hearts as we thank Him for His greatness.      

Sometimes, we forget to be STILL in God’s presence and witness HOW He blesses our souls. We have trouble letting go of our need to have control and become consumed by our agendas. But God is always ready to open our hearts for praise and help us witness the goodness of His faithful LOVE. 

HE is deserving of our LOVE and adoration! The Maker of every living thing knows what we need to find purpose for our days. He fuels us with strength and rewards us as we TRUST in His amazing ways. He knows how to guide and provide.  

The earth is full of reasons to say, “Thank you, Lord” and give Him the time it takes to offer appreciation. God knows HOW to humble our hearts. Every season has color of its own. He will prepare us to welcome gratitude and focus on His timely rewards. We must be still and honor Him when changes come. He WILL always work for the GOOD because HE LOVES US.

Dear God, thank you for humbling our hearts with gratitude. Help us never become too busy to give You are our praise. You bless us in so many ways and bring harmony to our lives. You give purpose to every living thing and fill us with desire to welcome thankfulness. Help us focus on what is good as we seek Your rewards. We will love you with adoration and become more aware of how You guide and provide. Help us rise with prayers of gladness. Thank you for this beautiful season of transformation. Thank you for Your faithful LOVE. It covers us in beautiful ways. Amen.
