He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And He said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18: 2-4 NIV

If we could see Jesus through the eyes of the children, we would be blessed. They wait for Christmas with tender hearts of JOY and anticipate the celebration of His birth. They sing songs, participate in meaningful programs and share a joyful noise with a servant’s heart. But for those who are struggling in the midst of worry, illness and doubt, it's often hard for adults to find Christmas JOY.

God continues to love us through each moment as we remain faithful and TRUST. Jesus brings peace in His presence. He knows about challenges and pain. God sent Him to provide HOPE for the future and comfort for the trials we face. He helps us make ROOM for His amazing LOVE and nurtures hearts for hallelujahs.

God will help us love like the children; with hearts that are open and pure. As we prepare to welcome Christmas, we WILL find JOY as we honor our King, pray and BELIEVE in what God WILL do. Jesus is deserving of our love, praise and adoration! He will prepare us for what’s to come and be our PEACE forever.

We will embrace this season with gratitude if we live with FAITH and thank God for ALL He provides. JESUS is the gift that needs to be received. He offers LOVE for each one of us. We are held by His holiness and cradled in care. HE will help us recognize WHY we need the glory of Christmas EVERY day of our lives.

Dear God, thank you for Your presence. Open our eyes so we will clearly see how to welcome Jesus with humbled hearts of PRAISE.  Help us love like the children, with gladness and JOY! As we reflect on His birth, help us remember PEACE WILL COME, as we seek You with all of our hearts and remain faithful. Thank you, Lord! We BELIEVE in the power of Your greatness! We’re so GRATEFUL to celebrate this season with JOYFUL anticipation and welcome the fullness of Christmas LOVE. Thank you, Lord! Thank you. Amen
