Whoever says He abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked. 1 John 2:

“As a believer in Christ we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. We have the power to change.” God speaks to our hearts. He leads us by His Spirit and allows us to recognize His voice. When we’re silent and still, He helps us hear when we carefully listen...

God wants us to understand what comes from obedience; our willingness to do what is right and respond to His nudging. Sometimes we become distracted and it's hard to hear the voice of truth. But God speaks in ways we understand.

As we draw closer to Christ, we become more aware of His presence in our lives and begin to recognize HOW to live life that is pleasing to God. The Bible says, God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding. John 37:5 NIV He tugs at the source of our weakness. God guides and provides. He knows how to handle our days as we glorify Him.

God arms us with the tools we need to grow our love for Jesus. He longs to dwell in the home of our hearts. He leads us by His WORD and helps us develop a better understanding of why we NEED Him.

We are restless souls in a world that’s not perfect, but God sent Jesus to save us. He knows how to bring PEACE in our patience, compassion and love. Jesus brought HOPE to a world of darkness. As we become more like Him, the world will see His LOVE though us.

Philippians 2: 5-8 says, as you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did. In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact. Instead, he made himself nothing. He did this by taking on the nature of a servant. He was made just like human beings. He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross! Philippians 2: 5-8 NIRV

As we humble our hearts for the One who died in our place, may we greet each day with praise for our Savior and strive to understand what comes from FAITH and TRUST. May we never be afraid to admit WHY we NEED the One who came to bring us peace. Let's open our hearts to welcome what is ours when we humbly choose to RECEIVE. Jesus is the WAY, the truth and the life. We must never stop walking toward the wholeness of our eternal home. ♥

Dear God, thank you for Jesus. Oh, how we need to love Him with ALL of our hearts! Help us listen with patience as You speak in marvelous ways and teach us what comes from trust. We will examine our lives and recognize why we NEED the Savior to draw us closer to You. Thank you for HOPE and the eternal promise of what’s to come. We will humble our hearts to be more like Jesus and breathe in the beautiful ways You choose to bless us. Thank you for the love of a grateful heart and the reward that comes when we make room for Jesus.  Amen
