For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 NLT 

Sometimes, we seek the approval of others and forget the “applause of Christ” brings the greatest reward. God approves of us because of our FAITH in Jesus and we’re offered eternal life when we accept gifts from the Holy Spirit and glorify Him.  

Sometimes, we compare ourselves to others and begin to doubt our ability to fulfill God’s will. These are moments we need to be reminded to live with FAITH, TRUST in His promises, welcome the PEACE of Christ and breathe in knowing we are valued and loved. 

God knows what we need as we walk in the fullness of truth and find JOY in the blessing of NOW. There are lessons to learn as we recognize HOW to be freed from the bondage of doubt. The Bible helps us remain grounded in truth and find wisdom from His promises. 

God wants us to understand without FAITH it’s impossible to please Him. HE is the One who nurtures our hearts as we seek Him with a willingness to do what it takes to experience HOW He guides and provides.  

God helps us surrender fear. Isn’t it time to honor Him with ALL of our LOVE and stop seeking the approval of those who will never know what we hold in our souls? Galatians 1:10 ESV says, “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

We must do our part to accomplish the tasks we’re given and remember when we serve others, we are serving God. He will equip us to work with a willingness to see ourselves as He sees us; capable and able to complete the jobs we are given.   

God will bless us as we honor Him and love like Jesus. He will set the stage for good to come and bless us in amazing ways. TRUST Him and choose to welcome JOY! It will come when we hold gratitude in our hearts and experience the blessing of what happens when we glorify Him.   

Dear God, thank you for knowing our hearts. Thank you for creating us to glorify YOU as we love one another and share the love of Christ. Help us breathe in the fullness of truth as we find wisdom in Your Word and believe in Your promises. May Your will be fulfilled as You guide, provide and ready us to rise by Your greatness. Thank you for the many ways You equip us to love one another and glorify YOU. Thank you for joy that comes when we serve You with gladness. Amen
